Aarohi Life Education an Alternate System of Education

http://geniekids.com/

Aarohi Life Education vision is to offer an environment and process that empowers children to learn on their own, all they need & want to learn for living their life, both now and in future.

Innovation in education cannot be achieved by tinkering the current system. It can only be achieved by offering an alternate system – a system which is true to the child and to the objective of education. A system which does not target the next exam or the next college rather it empowers children into adults who can think, lead and enjoy their life to fullest potential.

If you are looking at a school that values the learner more than the learning; that values the process more than the results, that is based on children creating their own learning rather than us teaching them, and that is about living life - now and in future - then explore more:

The School is currently for children 5.5 years to upto 10th Standard. A child can join at any age and at any time of the year (only subject to space availability).

A manual for different classes will be provided which gives the guidance on various aspects of teaching the child and an understanding of the child’s learning styles.  A Study plan offering a weekly plan for 9 months for each subject you need to teach with tips on how to teach them.

ISHA home school

The school is fundamentally geared towards the child’s well-being, ensuring that each child is capable of reaching his/her full potential while preserving the innate longing to learn and know life in all its dimensions. The residential Home School is located at the foothills of the Velliangiri Mountains.

While students progress at their own pace, the Home School prepares students to appear for the board examinations at an appropriate age.

More specifically, the aims of the Home School are:
  • To allow a child to grow with an uncluttered intelligence so that she/he can perceive and experience life without distortions.
  • To mould children into sensible, respectful, and graceful human beings who have the necessary openness and willingness to question themselves and the world around them.
  • To provide children with an inspiring, and loving atmosphere that is devoid of fear, ridicule, and comparison-- an atmosphere that is, fully committed to identifying and nurturing the natural talents of each child.
  • To provide children with the opportunity to take up responsibility for themselves and others in order to develop in them a greater sense of commitment and enable them to contribute to the world in which they live.
The Home School is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) for Class X (ICSE) and for Class XII (ISC) examinations.

Centre for Learning [CFL] the children's learning centre, an alternative education centre for children between 3 and 16 years.

Attempts to let children learn at their own pace, free of fear and coercion to help them grow into self-actualizing, self-disciplined, independent learners.

An unconditional acceptance and respect for each individual is their starting point. Building non-competitive, trusting relationships, dialogue and participatory, negotiated learning are our way forward.

CFL is a small attempt to correct the anti-poor bias of the ‘education’ system.

They are an alternative education centre that attempts to let children learn at their own pace, free of fear and coercion to help them grow into self-disciplined, self motivated, independent learners.

They accept admissions through the year, as they work with each child as the unit and they don't work on an annual calendar.
