It is a school for special children.

Their vision is to provide holistic development opportunities to all children with Special needs. They envision a society with total acceptance of Special needs, where equal opportunities exist for all people.

Their Goals:
They want to reach out to all children with Special needs, especially those that have nowhere else to go.  They hope to help enhance social awareness about Special children through their unique inclusion of the commonly called “normal children” into their school. It has the dual benefit of inspiring their Special students, as well as sensitizing normal students to the needs of the Special community.
Imparting Quality educating and training to children with Special needs, thereby helping enhance their self esteem, and enabling them to be part of our society.
Generating a platform for holistic personality development of Special children by ensuring they develop their ‘self-help’ skills at our off-site location “Little Angels Kingdom”.

In preparing their curriculum, they have sought out the best practices teaching programs and examination boards (NIOS). The information given here outlines the broad aims of their teaching at different levels in order to provide an idea of how a child will progress at Little Angels School.

Special education is the individually planned and systematically monitored arrangement of teaching procedures, adapted equipment and materials, accessible settings, and other interventions designed to help learners with special needs achieve a higher level of personal self-sufficiency and success in school and community than would be available if the student were only given access to a typical classroom education.

THE PHILOSOPHY OF THE SCHOOL IS BASED ON INCLUSIVE EDUCATION AND EVEN INCLUSION OF CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS.

MIRA SCHOOL (Managed by MIRA Education Trust) is a successful sequel to the popular MIRA KINDERGARTEN. It is recognized by the Gujarat Board and affiliated to the National Open School, New Delhi.
As per Mira School, Skill based learning means developing skills among the students to make learning more meaningful, practical, presentable and useful for life. Only bookish knowledge, rote learning without understanding, faulty evalution system does not help human in contributing in the society as a intellectual productive independent human being.

Akshay Pratishthan was set up as a unique "experiment" in inclusion and inclusive education. In 1998 what began as a small school in tents in Dakshinpuri has expanded to become a rehabilitation centre supporting more than 450 children. Apart from education, Akshay Pratishthan is well known for its vocational training, medical care and employment opportunities.

NIOS is catering effectively to the present need of education. It is a boon for those who cannot continue studies on a regular basis. NIOS aims at providing relevant continuing and developmental education at the school level and up to pre-degree level.
Akshay Pratishthan was affiliated with NIOS for Vocational Training in the year 1997 and for Academics from the year 1999. As such, after class VIII our students have the option either to go to other regular schools or appear for class X and class XII examination through this NIOS study centre.

(ii) The Open Basic Education Programme helps out of school students from all sections of society, namely sheet children, honestable, non-literate and school drop out hearing inpaired and intellectually challenged. This programme offers courses at three levels equivalent to classes III, V and VIII using NCERT curriculum. Learner can either attend regular classes or can register and merely appear for the exams at the Centre. The courses are accredited by National Institute of Open Schooling.

Akshay Pratishthan is a model of inclusive education. The organization runs a school where an integrated group of over 450 children, able-bodied as well as differently abled, and various categories study and play together, from Nursery to Grade VIII. Children with almost any kind of disability are being catered to. Teachers of this institution are trained in management of disabilities in class rooms. They employ the latest technology to make inclusive education a reality. Besides classes, the school also has a special wing for children with special needs.
