At Sweekkar, there is a Center for Slow Learners.

Slow LearnersDropouts from normal schools and students with borderline intelligence are trained in this centre. After training to the extent of their needs, students are re-inducted into the normal schools. Other students are helped to appear for examinations under the National Open School System. Currently there are 46 beneficiaries and 8 teachers in this centre.

Centre for Learning Difficulties

This centre was started in the year 1999 as there was much demand for starting this department. .C.L.D. is working under the programme of COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL HEALTH SERVICES. This is one of the upcoming departments of SWEEKAAR.

The department focuses on the LEARNING PROBLEMS of normal school going children. A team of specialists take care of the department.
